Position Overview: Director of Sales, 24/7 Artists

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Sales to lead the charge in growing our 24/7+ membership and sales across different customer segments, including individuals, educational institutions, and enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of both sales/marketing and the music x tech industry and will work closely with our community, marketing, and tech teams. This role will initially focus on developing and executing a comprehensive sales plan before expanding into building and managing a full sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement sales strategies to drive Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR), enterprise partnerships, and individual membership growth.
- Enterprise Sales: Target educational institutions (universities, high schools), labels, and music groups for bulk memberships and partnerships.
- MRR Growth: Increase individual artist membership through digital campaigns, influencer partnerships, in-person activations, and SMS marketing.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing, community, and tech teams to ensure alignment on sales goals and customer success strategies.
- Sales Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a sales team as the company scales, including setting KPIs, tracking performance, and optimizing sales efforts.
- Client Relationship Management: Oversee customer relationships, providing white-glove service to enterprise clients and ensuring customer success and retention.
- Reporting and Accountability: Monitor sales performance, report to senior management, and adjust strategies based on data and insights.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in sales, with a proven track record in the music and/or technology industries.
- Strong understanding of SaaS-based sales models, particularly in subscription services.
- Experience in enterprise sales and client relationship management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
